Criccieth, 5 minutes to the west, is a lovely seaside town with a selection of excellent restaurants, curiosity shops and world famous ice cream. The larger harbour town of Porthmadog is 5 minutes to the east and has more cafés, restaurants and a larger supermarket. There are naturally lots of things to do in the area including miles of sandy coastline to discover and high peaked mountains to explore.
